Pelorus is a luxury yacht currently owned by David Geffen who bought it in 2011for $300 million. It is one of the largest and most luxurious private yachts of the world. It is 115 metres (377 ft) in length. Pelorus is powered by two 5,500-hp Wartsila 12v 26 engines and has two helicopter pads, large pool, Jacuzzi and assorted toys, including jet skis and wave runners.

Eclipse is a luxury motor yacht owned by a Russian businessman named Roman Abramovich. It is the world’s largest private yacht, At 163.5 metres (536 ft) long, it  measures as 0.5 metres (1 ft 8 in) in lenght. It was constructed by Blohm + Voss in Hamburg, Germany. Its exterior and interior were designed by Terence Disdale Design. Eclipse’s estimated price if approx. US$475M as of September 2011. This luxurious yacht has 2 helicopter pads, 24 guest cabins, 2 beautiful swimming pools, many hot tubs, a disco hall and a mini-submarine. Around 70 crew members are needed to operate the yacht. Eclipse is reportedly equipped with an anti-paparazzi laser shield.

Dubai is presently owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, This luxury motor yacht is 524 feet, 10 inches (162 m) long, and is the second largest yacht in the world after Eclipse. Dubai yacht costs almost $300 million and has three elevators, beautiful swimming pools, a huge open glass staircase, squash room, helicopter pad, a spa and submarine. What esle one can wish for!?

4) Lady Moura

Lady Moura is world’s 9th largest private luxury superyacht. It was launched in 1990, and owned by Saudi Arabian businessman, Nasser Al-Rashid. She is 105.8 m (344 ft) long and was built by Blohm + Voss, Germany. All things like ports, doors, flaps, roofs, bath platforms, gangways and cranes are operated by hydraulical system. 24 carat gold has been used to carve the name and the escutcheon on it.

Rising Sun is a motor yacht which is 8th largest in the world and is almost 138 metres (453 ft) long. It is currently owned by David Geffen. According to reports its cost is over US$200 million. This luxury superyacht has 82 rooms on 5 storeys, jacuzzi bathrooms, a gymnasium/spa and sauna, a master bath/bedroom, a private cinema, a basketball court, Onyx countertops and the list goes on.

6) Octopus

Octopus is owned by Paul Allen the co-founder of Microsoft. It is a 414 foot (126 m) long and is world’s 12th largest superyacht. This yacht sports 2 helicopters, 1 in front and 1 on the back, and has a permanent crew of 60 members. It has two submarines and one is used for oceanography.

7) Maltese Falcon

The Maltese Falcon is a clipper sailing luxury yacht owned by American venture capitalist Tom Perkins. It is 88 m (289 ft) long and is one of the largest privately-owned sailing yachts in the world. This sailing yacht has two 1,800 horsepower (1,300 kW) Deutz engines running at 1,800 rpm.
It cost is around $150 million to $300 million. This yacht has 18 permanent crew members for maintaining the technical aspects. The Maltese Falcon has won several awards such as 2007 International SuperYacht Society Best S/Y over 36 m, 2007 Showboats international Award — best sailing yacht interior etc.

It has five decks, a master suite, a saloon, a dining area, swimming pool with adjustable floor in depth, a movie theater, two helicopters, power and sailboats etc.

9) Ecstasea

Ecstasea is a luxury yacht which was sold by owner Roman Abramovich in June 2009 to an unknown Shiekh of the UAE for $200 million. This yacht is 85.95 m (282.00 ft) long and has capacity of 12 passengers and 24 crew members. It has Asian style interior design.

10 ) Meteor

Meteor is Royal Huisman’s 52 metre long sailing superyacht with 1 x 805 HP MTU 12V 2000 M engines and max speed of 15 knots. This yacht has carbon fiber spars, beautiful mahogany wooden classic interior and has 3 cabins for accommodate 6 guests.
