A Game Publisher is as equally important as a Game Developer. Game Developers are either hired by the Publishers to make games for their company or the Game Developers come to the Publishers to publish their games themselves. In some cases, the giant Publishing companies buy the game developing studios to make games only for their company, i.e Activision has Infinity Ward and Treyarch, EA has DICE and Danger Close and others.
